Cashpoints machines, or ATMs, which issue Albanian lek can be found in everytown of any size. Also in our commune Bushat there is a bank with a cashpoint machine. The cashpoint machine in Bushat (on the way to the camping 3 km) is linked to the MasterCard/Visa/Cirrus and Maestro Network. But also in Shkkodra you find many points where you can take money like everywhere in Europe. At the cashpoint machines from the NBG Bank, Raiffeisenbank and ProCredit bank in Shkodra you can get EURO or LEK. In Bushat you get only Albanian LEK.

The national currency is Lek, in denominations of 5000, 2000, 1000, 500, 200 lek, and coins of 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 lek. Credit cards like American Express, Diners Club and Visa, are accepted by banks and the major hotels. The same is true for Travelers Checks. However, most payments are made in cash.
